Private Repair Service for Out of Warranty Nikken Items

I fell in love with the Palm Mag as soon as I saw it in action. When Barb realized that I like to tinker with things she brought me a dead Palm Mag and said "Have fun". I misunderstood and thought that she wanted it fixed, so I fixed it. When she found out that I had fixed it she asked if I could fix another one for her. I said yes and we agreed that she would pay me $50 to fix it like Nikken used to do. After fixing the second one for Barb, we discussed the fact that Nikken no longer provides repair service for the Palm Mag. She asked if I would be open to fixing more of them and I said yes. I run a small repair business out of my home called Some Assembly Required, so I have all of the tools, experience, and contacts for parts to do any of the repairs needed (other than major structural damage). I am in the process of drafting a letter to Nikken headquarters in Irvine asking if they would be willing to recognize me as an authorized Nikken repair shop. In the mean time, I am trying to let as many people as possible know that my services are available and are not necessarily limited to Palm Mags. We have someone sending us a Body Energizer soon that I will be repairing. Barb suggested that I write to you as she figured you might have or know others who would have Palm Mags in need of repair.
